Students in Williamstown will soon have access to the first-rate classrooms and facilities they deserve, with work under way upgrading Altona North Primary School.
Member for Williamstown today announced Arc3 Pty Ltd had been appointed to build Altona North Primary School’s $ 3,830,000.00 million upgrade, which will help it deliver a 21st century education.
The upgrade will see the demolition of termite affected areas of B Block, as well as the construction of a new building that will include classrooms, maker space, meeting spaces and an office. This upgrade will also refurbish the remaining section of B Block including student amenities, classrooms and IT spaces.
Under the Andrews Labor Government’s school building boom, a total of 100 new schools will open by 2026, ensuring every child has a great local school and a great start in life.
The Andrews Labor Government has invested $7.2 billion to deliver more than 1,460 school upgrades, supporting over 7,500 construction jobs for Victorians.
