The future redevelopment of Williamstown Swimming and Life Saving Club (WSLSC) is finally set to move ahead following the passing of the Hobsons Bay City Council’s Budget last night.
At last night’s meeting it was resolved that $5.5 million would be allocated to the redevelopment of WSLSC’s redevelopment.
This investment is welcome following after an $11.35 million investment was announced by the State Labor Government in 2021.
Member for Williamstown, Melissa Horne said she was glad to see the investment by Hobsons Bay City Council and that the community could finally be assured that this vital project for Williamstown could proceed with the co-commitment by Council.
