Williamstown Swimming and Lifesaving Cub is set to receive a new All Terrain Vehicle, thanks to a grant of $17,842 from the State Labor Government.
The purchase of this vehicle will be supplemented by $xx from the club and will be used to transport boats and other equipment and better assist the community during an emergency.
The funding is part of the Volunteer Emergency Services Equipment Program (VESEP) where grant recipients that will share in more than $15 million to purchase new equipment, improve emergency response capability and support community safety.
VESEP is an annual grants program that provides funding to Victorian emergency services volunteer groups to purchase essential operational equipment, vehicles and appliances and undertake minor facility improvements.
