Member for Williamstown, Melissa Horne announced the release of the Williamstown Photo Competition calendar.
The Williamstown Photo Competition ran from August to November 2024, collecting submissions from locals in Williamstown, Altona, Altona North, Spotswood, Newport, South Kingsville, Brooklyn and Seaholme.
The photo competition was intended to celebrate the beauty of our electorate and the talent of our local photographers.
The calendar contains twelve photos selected by Melissa Horne; one assigned to each month and an honourable mention photo at the end of the calendar.
Photographers selected include Alex Williams, Josh Schumann, Robyn Singleton, Ann Smith, Russel Cassar, Brett Harrison, Ian Street, Jo Gregg, Bridget Sun, Kate Robinson, Cas Bukor, Ray Alfieri, and Robyn Barlett.
The winning image ‘colours from above’ by Brett Harrison decorates the cover of the calendar and the month June, representing the electorate’s maritime environment.
Printed calendars are now available for collection from the electorate office at 101 Douglas Parade, Williamstown, 3016, or the office can be contacted to receive the calendar by post.
