On Friday March 14, Member for Williamstown Melissa Horne held the annual Williamstown Electorate Bowling Competition at Parliament House.
Three clubs from the Williamstown electorate attended the lawn bowling competition: Altona Sports Club, Newport Bowls Club, and Williamstown Bowling Club.
Each club had a chance to compete on the green in Parliament gardens and received private tours of Parliament House from the Hon. Melissa Horne.
Newport Bowling Club won this year’s tournament and will have their name engraved on the Williamstown Electorate Bowling Competition shield trophy, which will then be passed into their care until the next tournament.
Congratulations to the participants of the winning Newport Bowls Club team, Lleyton Lammardo, Jennifer Taylor, Laurie Taylor, and Peter Barlow.
