DSV Stadium, home to the Williamstown Seagulls Football Club, has completed extensive upgrades to their player facilities thanks to $1.5 million grants from the State and Federal Labor Governments.
Member for Williamstown, Melissa Horne, and Member for Gellibrand attended the opening of the upgraded DSV Stadium with Club President Meryl Dooley, Vice President Michael Howlett, and CEO Ash Baker.
The works included dedicated changing rooms for women players, bathrooms, kitchen space, medical rooms, coach rooms and player review area. It also includes a dedicated medical room for away teams.
$1 million of the upgrades was funded by the State Government and $500,00 was provided by the Federal Government.
