Member for Williamstown, Melissa Horne attended the opening of Bayside College’s new Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) facilities at the P-12 campus.
This was made possible thanks to a $6.7 million investment from the Allan Labor Government to build a new STEM building, modernise the library, and upgrade outdoor spaces for students.
These upgrades ensure students have access to cutting-edge tools and dynamic spaces that inspire creativity and problem solving.
The new facilities will ensure students with STEM skills can prepare for future industries and jobs critical to global challenges like climate change and technological advancement.
The event to unveil the new STEM building was focused on student wellbeing, engagement and improved learning opportunities.
